OUR GOALS

  • Develop programs in our community so that no adoptable companion animal must be euthanized.

  • Develop programs to help people maintain and/or establish life-long relationships with their companion animals.

  • Help connect the community's special needs population to Humane Education.  Help to develop programs so that these individuals reap the benefits of establishing bonds with companion animals.

  • Establish Humane Education and Anti-Cruelty programs in all McHenry County schools as well as opportunities for adult humane education.

  • To develop programs that promote and facilitate spay and neutering of our animals to prevent pet overpopulation.

  • Foster and promote the link between individuals, companion animals and the environment.

  • Develop community services that are readily accessible to everyone.

  • Develop a resource center so that we can help individuals with their animal problems or know where they can go for help.

  • Integrate into organizational programs, community outreach and support with other complimentary non-profit organizations.

  • Long-term goal to build a Community Center for animals and individuals to better facilitate Animal Outreach Society's goals.
