OUR GOALS
- Develop programs in our community so that no adoptable companion animal
must be euthanized.
- Develop programs to help people maintain and/or establish life-long
relationships with their companion animals.
- Help connect the community's special needs population to Humane Education.
Help to develop programs so that these individuals reap the benefits
of establishing bonds with companion animals.
- Establish Humane Education and Anti-Cruelty programs in all McHenry
County schools as well as opportunities for adult humane education.
- To develop programs that promote and facilitate spay and neutering
of our animals to prevent pet overpopulation.
- Foster and promote the link between individuals, companion animals
and the environment.
- Develop community services that are readily accessible to everyone.
- Develop a resource center so that we can help individuals with their animal problems or know where they can go for help.
- Integrate into organizational programs, community outreach and support
with other complimentary non-profit organizations.
- Long-term goal to build a Community Center for animals and individuals
to better facilitate Animal Outreach Society's goals.
