AOS gets hundreds of calls each month from individuals who, for many different reasons, can not keep their dog or cat. It is our hope that we can some how help every one. We assist these individuals through the many avenues and resources we have developed throughout the years to find new homes for animals. AOS has developed a Foster Care network where animals can be kept until they are ready for adoption after being relinquished to AOS. Foster Homes are one of the best ways to home animals until they can be adopted. A foster home family can give the animal the much need attention and love to develop into a well-rounded animal easily adopted into a family. AOS Foster Families are selected then trained to best care for our animals giving them the best chance of finding and keeping a family for life. If you would like to see what being an AOS Foster Family entails, click here. Our cats are shown for adoption at many different events, PETsMART and PETCO for adoption. Potential adopters are interviewed and screened to assure they meet all AOS requirements of an adoptive home. AOS works hard to assure that we understand the character and behavior traits of each of our animals to make the best match for human and animal. We also do our best to assure that they are in the best of health. |
