AOS Note: Cathy's mother Nancy was in our Senior program. She recently passed away. Wanting companionship for herself and her older dog, she inquired about the senior program and soon adopted Callie. Callie herself started having thyroid problems, and nancy made sure she got her meds and all the love she could handle. Callie is doing fine at one of our volunteer's while looking for a new home. |

Many people were surprised to see we have pet food. I
always say "If you can't feed yourself how are you going to
feed your pets". Just because you are going through hard
times, you shouldn't need to give up your pet - that can be
as traumatic as losing a family member. On behalf of our

 They are fabulous! I can't believe it took me so long to get cats. Sasha is growing
up to be a big fluff
ball and Satine will
probably always be
small. Sasha loves
her mice and is definitely more of a ?cuddler? than her sister.
She has no problem being passed from person to person
when I entertain. Satine always follows me up and down the
stairs and her favorite activity (besides her mice) is watching
water drip out of the bathtub faucet. I have also come across
some of their baby teeth - believe it or not!
